Texas homeowners terrified after stranger wearing satanic mask appears at their front door, leaves Eerie message on doorstep

A Texas woman is gripped with fear after a chilling encounter was captured on her home’s security camera. The unsettling footage shows an individual wearing a satanic goat mask and holding a sign displaying a Bible verse about the end times.

The homeowner, whose identity remains undisclosed for safety reasons, was out dining with her husband on January 18 when the incident occurred at their residence near West Hebron Parkway.

The intruder, as seen in the video, wandered through the side yard before reaching the doorstep, wearing a red horned mask and brandishing a sign referencing Revelation 20:1-15. This passage is often associated with themes of judgment day, the lake of fire, and the ultimate defeat of Satan.

“I’m scared to leave the house. I’m scared to even be here,” the woman told CBS. “It’s about the end of times. It’s about judgment day. I freaked out—I couldn’t even think straight.”

She recounted that she and her husband had stopped for dinner and picked up a Powerball ticket on the way home, only to later witness the stranger approach their door. The Ring camera captured the masked figure knocking and peering directly into the camera, all while pointing at the ominous sign as if to emphasize its message.

Neighbor Scott Geairn, who saw the footage shared on the neighborhood app Nextdoor, said, “When I saw it, I thought, ‘What’s the message here?’ It’s bizarre. That’s the kind of thing you see on Halloween—except this isn’t October. It must be terrifying for the family.”

Another neighbor, Gloria Johns, expressed concern, adding, “I’ve never seen anything like this happen here. I really hope they catch this person.”

The verse cited on the stranger’s sign references the Book of Revelation, a biblical chapter that details apocalyptic events. According to Bibleref.com, the passage symbolizes the ultimate triumph over evil, with Satan’s permanent banishment and the restoration of justice for believers.

Although the couple has reported the incident to the Carrollton Police Department, authorities have determined that the masked individual didn’t commit a crime. Since the stranger did not cross any physical barriers, ignore warnings, or remain on the property after being told to leave, the actions don’t qualify as trespassing.

“We are monitoring the situation and encourage residents to report any suspicious activity,” police officials said in a statement.

Despite the lack of legal repercussions, the incident has left the homeowner shaken. “From my post, many people are saying they would have probably shot the person. I don’t know if this is a prank, but it’s really affected me.”

The woman also issued a stern warning to the masked individual: “If this is some kind of joke, you need to be careful.”

In this quiet Texas neighborhood where residents generally know each other, the unsettling incident has created a ripple of unease. “We’re all very nice here. Something like this really shakes things up,” said Geairn.

For now, the couple remains vigilant as they cope with the aftermath of the bizarre encounter.
