“I learned a lot from my mom, especially about being ambitious in my career as a woman,” Eva said in an interview with Yahoo Finance in 2019. “She taught me the importance of not holding back and pursuing what makes me happy.”
Eva is now a mother of three, a successful actress, and a famous blogger. She got married to chef Ian Hock in June 2024.

Does Eva Say that Growing Up as a Celebrity’s Kid was Like a “Circus”?
Eva shared on TikTok in 2023 that growing up as the daughter of an actress was a unique experience.
“I grew up with many other kids of celebrities because whenever my parents did a movie or a TV show, the other kids of those actors and directors would all be together,” she remembered.
“People who grew up in the industry sometimes compare the experience to growing up in the circus. They spend surreal periods closely intertwined with other people and become very close, almost like family,” she said.
Eva expressed that when a project ends, it can be sad and disorienting to transition back into real life and no longer be around the people she got close to.
She still holds many cherished memories of her time with other celebrities and their children. At the same time, her mother collaborated on projects with them. Growing up in this unique environment creates a common bond with others who have had a similar experience.

What is Eva’s Relationship with Kyle Martino?
Eva and former professional soccer player Kyle Martino started dating in 2010 and got engaged later that year.
The couple married in late 2011 and had three children: sons Mateo and Major and daughter Marlowe. When their oldest child, Marlowe, was 18 months old, Eva said her husband fired their nanny for allegedly sending him inappropriate texts.
She wrote on her blog that the situation brought us even closer emotionally and geographically than we would have been otherwise. It also made me grateful for my strong relationship with my husband. I know that this happens all the time with different results.
However, in November 2019, they announced they would separate after eight years of marriage.
The following year, Martino talked openly about their divorce, explaining that when they first met, they “helped each other” but “sucked” at staying married.
After the split, Eva decided to change her last name back to Amurri. In a lengthy Instagram post, she wrote, “It’s EA to you, baby!” She mentioned that restoring her original name was an emotional choice, but she looked forward to a fresh start.

Ever since Eva got pregnant with her first child, Sarandon has been happy. “I’m so excited to become a grandmother,” People reported. “I might not be in the delivery room, but I’ll be there for whatever she needs.”
Sarandon was there when her first grandchild, Marlowe, was born. She said, “I have loved working, playing, and travelling with my daughter, but nothing prepared me for watching her give birth. She was a warrior, and I’m proud to be her mother and part of that beautiful new child.”
Eva, now a loving mother, finds it challenging to raise three kids and believes that having three is the most challenging number of children to parent.
“Transitioning to three kids was easier for me in the beginning than going from one to two,” she said in 2023. “Taking care of Mateo as a baby felt easy. However, once he started moving around, it became really intense, managing three kids.”
