Thar Tribune (a unit of Vari Media Private Limited) is a news and current affairs website. We publish opinion articles, analysis of issues, news reports (curated from various sources as well as original reporting) and fact-check articles.
Core Team
Thar Tribune was conceptualized and launched in May 2024 by a group of friends led by Prathamesh Kabra, an alumni of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai. The team was later quickly expanded to include Mayur, an alumni of the Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai and Kriti, a student at the National Institute of Fashion Technology, Mumbai.
The current Editor-in-Chief of Thar Tribune is Prathamesh Kabra (prathamesh.kabra@thartribune.com). The extended team include staff writers in various cities. Our registered and corporate office is in Mumbai.
Management
Thar Tribune, founded in 2024, is owned by Vari Media, a private limited company formed in India in 2023. Vari Media is partly funded via personal savings of the founders of Thar Tribune. Kabra & Co., an independent private trading company based in Nashik has also invested in the company.
